No, Herman "the German" was. Can't remember his last name and couldn't spell it if I wanted too.....
He was born in Austria but raised in the US from a baby.
I was the logistics/supply guy and the barracks NCO when I wasn't playing a general.... :D

Oh yeah and the company cook.

Sounds like fun. Do you know Don Calder or Willi Zahn?

The names sound familiar but it's been quite a while since I did any reenacting/living history other than Fort Stanton out here in New Mexico. :dunno:

They both did german para reenacting. I haven't seen either one for years and years.

I met both of them in Germany at a treffen I attended.

Wow. Nice collection. Spent a few weeks at Fort Indian Town gap many years ago. Nice view looking down the cooling tower of Three Mile Island, coming down to land.

Several protesters brandished rifles and held signs extolling gun rights.
"We came unarmed ... this time," one read. "Patriots unite! They ban, we fight," read another.

Lots of heavily armed folks here today in #richmond. 16000 people in the zone where weapons were allowed

I guess they were ready for violence but since nothing happen it must have been a disappointment to some

So I guess they were heard on both sides and there was no need for violence

Yet trump from the safety of his fort tweets

Despite fears of potential violence, President Donald Trump urged his followers to stand up to state Democrats' gun control efforts.
