It's a very ridiculous law suit and it's an example of tying up the courts to harass an industry someone doesn't like.

Gun companies are not large, billion dollar companies with armies of lawyers.

Just fighting these suits will undoubtedly hurt some manufacturers even if they win every one.

Ideally, NRA will help fight off these suits.

    Um. No.

The gun industry made a decision that Nancy Lanza and crazy people like her were key customers to be catered to.

That's why they should be held responsible. Because they weren't being responsible in who they sold to.

Tell that to the former leader of Rumania. He had tanks too.

    He's still very dead.

They wont win. An act passed by Congress protects them from frivolous bullshit like this.
Adam killed his mother for access to her gun. That is no ones fault but his.

Because the guys in the Tanks refused to fire on the unarmed populace...

You do get that, right? That all the communist government that fell didn't fall because people had weapons.

Actually, the act passed by Congress doesn't apply here... the courts ruled on that.

Now the only question is, can Remington make an argument that when they put out ads like this...

Were they inspiring unstable people like Lanza.

You think a Jury is going to be less emotional when they see the crime scene photos of all those dead kids?

Big Greedy Corporation vs. Parents of Slaughtered children...

This will not end well for Remington.

This is not going to end any time soon. It they lose, it will end up going back to the SC. They are literally protected by an act from congress.
There is no ifs and or buts about it.

The act of Congress has a clear loophole for irresponsible marketing.

No ifs, ands or buts about it..

But good point. When the Democrats retake the white house and congress in 2020, we need to get that bullshit law off the books.
