Greedy, imperialistic Muslims (and their useful military idiots) have wrecked havoc across the centuries, but that doesn't alter the impact Zionism has had in Palestine. A century ago when European Jews began the Zionist project there were ten times as many non-Jews as Jews living in Palestine. By 1948 when Israel became a state, that ratio had shrunk to 2:1. Today there are equal numbers of Jews and non-Jews living between the River and the sea. The original Zionists never hid their intentions of turning Palestine into a Jewish majority state: "The Iron Wall" "Voluntary Agreement Not Possible. "There can be no voluntary agreement between ourselves and the Palestine Arabs. Not now, nor in the prospective future. I say this with such conviction, not because I want to hurt the moderate Zionists. I do not believe that they will be hurt. Except for those who were born blind, they realised long ago that it is utterly impossible to obtain the voluntary consent of the Palestine Arabs for converting 'Palestine' from an Arab country into a country with a Jewish majority."
